When I first got started in art, I relied on charcoal commissions to put food on the table and gas in the car. They were really tough times. Those generous souls that were willing to give me $ in exchange for art really helped me to not just survive, but gain the confidence that I could actually make a living in art. This is one of the those first commissions. To all those that bought my work early on... a big heartfelt mahalo.
